T Reg 2.5 litre V6 petrol engine. Was an up-market model in its day -
leather upholstery, climate control, CD changer, ...

Body work very tatty, but sound. Good on the inside. 108,000 miles on the
clock.

Engine loses coolant slowly, and heater has packed up. AC still seems to be
OK. Still runs well, and is MOT'ed.

Not worth the effort of trying to sell it for a few quid, so intending to
give it away or send it to the knacker's yard. So if you would like it and
can collect it from High Wycombe, let me know.

Regards,

Bernard.

If you don't get any takers here, try your local scrapyard. You may be
surprised how much scrap cars are worth these days.

Damn Cant even give it away..
Id have had it if you were more up north.

We had the same trouble a few years back with our old Rover 214si. Finaly
managed to shift it for £70 quid.
Wish Id still got it coz this Rover 45IXL is wank.
I keep bashing my head on the boot lid everytime I use the darn thing.
Though with it being a deisel, im not having to change the Head Gasket every
6 months.

A solution has been found to the head gasket problem.

Land Rover apparently use the same engines and have invented a gasket that
is a LOT harder to burst through.

My local Rover specialist fitted one and I have had no problems since.

Worth enquiring about next time anyone has one of the old type go.
